Terms and Conditions

Oikus ("Oikus", "we", "us") provides property search, verification reports, tours and related services through our websites and apps. These terms govern your use of those services.

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login details secure.
• You are responsible for activity on your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use Oikus.

Verification reports and property insights are based on information available to us and the checks carried out at the time. They are provided to help you make a decision and are not a guarantee, legal opinion or professional valuation. You should carry out your own due diligence, including independent legal checks, before paying for or purchasing any property.

Listings are provided by agents, developers and other third parties, and some are sourced from external websites. We work to verify agents and listings, but we are not a party to any agreement between you and a landlord, agent or seller.

The base fee for a verification request is ₦15,000, covering one property with the option to include up to two more in the same request at no extra cost. Fees for tours, escrow and other services are shown before you confirm. Unless stated otherwise or required by law, payments for credits are non-refundable once credits have been used.

• Do not post false, misleading or fraudulent listings or information.
• Do not misuse the platform, scrape it at scale, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to it.
• Do not use Oikus to harass, defraud or harm others.

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or put other users at risk. You can stop using Oikus at any time.

To the extent permitted by law, Oikus is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from information supplied by third parties or from decisions you make about a property.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Oikus after changes means you accept the updated terms.
